Despite its size and isolation Alderney is exposed to all of the same pressures on its natural environment as are found in the rest of the British Isles. The Alderney Wildlife Trust working with our community, and the island's government, can respond to these threats and we need your help.
Working within an island community the Alderney Wildlife Trust takes great care when considering on what issues it should campaign. It is all too easy to alienate a community when trying to engage it with subjects which appear removed from its day-to-day life.
However, it is crucial that all Wildlife Trusts campaign for the protection of their local environment as well as supporting national campaigns to protect Britain's Wildlife. You can read about more of our current conservation projects below.
